IMG_7993.jpg [32/66] Caption: Here is a bit wider shot. The Phantom orchid is the only Cephalanthera species to be found outside Europe and Asia. You can see that it has no green parts. It doesn't need sunlight to collect food. It uses food already made by other plants. Its leaves are under-developed because it does not need large solar collectors like most other plants in the deep woods.
